HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?

Laser hair removal results vary from individual to individual. For the body, you will need roughly 6-12 sessions of laser hair removal. For the face, you will need roughly 12 sessions of laser hair removal.

HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED A SESSION?

For the body, you will need a laser hair removal session every 6-8 weeks. For the face, you will need a laser hair removal session every 4-6 weeks. As the hair becomes finer & more sparse, throughout your treatment, the laser hair removal session will be pushed from 6 weeks to 7 weeks and so on. This is to target the next percentage of hairs in the anagen growth stage.

IS LASER HAIR REMOVAL PAINFUL?

At The Laser Co we offer virtually pain free laser hair removal with our Initia Diode Laser. Our laser offers 2 different modes for smaller & larger areas. The laser has a -8°C Ice Tip to provide you with maximum comfort before, during & after your session. The 2 modes we offer are the motion mode & the standard mode. With our motion mode, you will feel a warmth feeling & with our standard mode, you may feel a slightly elastic band feeling.

MY HAIR IS THICK & COARSE, WILL IT HELP?

Yes, laser hair removal works the best on thick & coarse hair. This is due to more melanin (pigment) being present in the hair.

WILL LASER HAIR REMOVAL WORK ON GREY, WHITE OR BLONDE HAIR?

No, laser hair removal will not work on hair colours such as grey, white or blonde. This is due to there not being enough pigment for any laser to pick up & target effectively.

CAN YOU TREAT ALL SKIN TYPES?

Yes, we wanted to make sure our laser hair removal clinic was fully inclusive. We offer laser hair removal to all skin types.

IS THE PRE/POST AFTERCARE IMPORTANT?
